Jeff Frye remembers the hopeless feeling of being abandoned; not by
his team or teammates but by his agents, the guys who had promised to
look out for him.
The promise proved hollow. Spring Training was almost over in 2002 and
with a week to go, he still didn't have a job. Two different agents
failed to find him one but Frye suspected they weren't trying. He
suspected they really didn't care. |
